Policy Dialogue – Research Chair for Forced Displacement and Migration Studies

One of the major engagements of the research chair is influencing policy related to forced displacement through different channels such as policy dialogue which can serve the stakeholders as a platform to discuss on global, regional and national level policy frameworks. It provides an opportunity to see the implementation of the existing policy frameworks and find new policy alternatives. It can also help divers stakeholders including government bodies, international agencies, NGOs, CSOs and FBOs. The dialogue may focus area include displacement economies and livelihoods, IDP and refugee governance, IDP and refugee education, inclusion, gender & diversity, and, mental health and well being of refugees and IDPs.
