One pillar activity of the research chair is related to building the capacity of actors in the sector and displacement affected communities (those displaced as well as the host). The capacity building will take several forms but mainly provision of awareness raising interventions, short term trainings, development of resource materials. Targets will include relevant government sectors, international and local NGOs, civil society organizations, refugee led organizations.
Current Engagement
In collaboration with The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), we are providing training for government stakeholders in different regions with the theme “the whole of government approach in migration governance”
