Regional Durable Solutions Secretariat (ReDSS)

ReDSS represents a coalition of 14 NGOs to support the aid sector promote durable solutions for protracted displacement in the region (East and Horn of Africa), with a particular focus on the translation of evidence into better policy and programming. It does this through working with all relevant partners, including governments, local authorities, UN agencies, NGOs, donors, civil society and regional bodies. Currently ReDSS is working with AAU in organizing a roundtable discussion and workshop that aimed at bringing academic researchers on forced displacement to develop a collective voice to influence policy and practice on forced displacement and migration in the region.
