He has been conducting research on a variety of issues including forced displacement, migration, inter-ethnic conflicts, identity studies, and border studies. He has coordinated and served as principal investigator in several multi-country research projects on forced displacement, migration and borderland studies in the Horn of Africa. Among the projects he coordinated are TRAFIG &#8211; a study of Eritrean refugees funded by EU\u2019s Horizon 2020; a co-investigator of a Protracted Displacement Economy funded by UK Global Challenge Research Fund, and \u2018Refugees on the Move\u2019 funded by NORAD.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>Dr. Fekadu Adugna Tufa is Associate Professor of Social Anthropology at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopipa.
