Fekadu Adugna (PhD)

Dr. Fekadu Adugna Tufa is Associate Professor of Social Anthropology at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopipa. He has been conducting research on a variety of issues including forced displacement, migration, inter-ethnic conflicts, identity studies, and border studies. He has coordinated and served as principal investigator in several multi-country research projects on forced displacement, migration and borderland studies in the Horn of Africa. Among the projects he coordinated are TRAFIG – a study of Eritrean refugees funded by EU’s Horizon 2020; a co-investigator of a Protracted Displacement Economy funded by UK Global Challenge Research Fund, and ‘Refugees on the Move’ funded by NORAD.
