Alebachew Kemisso Haybano has a Ph.D. in International and Comparative Education, and currently, he is an assistant professor at the Center for Comparative Education and Policy Studies at Addis Ababa University. He was also a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard University Center for African Studies. His research and publications mainly focus on how national education systems deal with issues of inclusion and identity development of refugees, and education in emergencies. He has produced several research reports in academic settings, with NGOs, INGOs, and consulting firms on a range of social issues.
